This role is responsible for supervising valet staff, coordinating vehicle flow, maintaining compliance with safety and operational standards, and serving as the primary point of escalation for guests and clients. The Valet Supervisor ensures staffing coverage, operational readiness, and adherence to company policies while promoting a service‑focused team culture.Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise valet attendants and leads during assigned shifts to ensure consistent service standardsCoordinate staffing, breaks, and work assignments to meet operational demandMonitor vehicle flow, staging, and retrieval to minimize congestion and guest wait timesServe as the on‑site escalation point for guest concerns, service issues, incidents, or claimsEnsure consistent use of valet ticketing systems (manual or electronic) and accurate vehicle trackingEnforce safety, traffic control, and vehicle‑handling procedures at all timesEnsure compliance with company policies, post orders, and state and local regulationsRespond to accidents, damage claims, or incidents and complete required documentationCoordinate with security, facility staff, or emergency services as necessaryEnsure professional, courteous, and service‑oriented guest interactionsSupport client expectations and communicate operational updates as neededAddress customer concerns promptly and resolve issues professionallyOversee cash handling, fee collection, and adherence to financial controlsReview end‑of‑shift revenue reconciliation and documentation when applicableReport operational issues, staffing concerns, or performance matters to managementAssist with onboarding, training, and coaching of valet staffMonitor employee performance and provide feedback and corrective guidance when neededPromote teamwork, accountability, and a positive work environmentSkills, Knowledge and ExpertiseExcellent customer service and communication skillsStrong communication, leadership, and problem‑solving skillsCalm and professional demeanor in high‑pressure situationsAttention to detail and operational awarenessCustomer‑focused mindset balanced with safety and complianceAbility to learn quickly and use sound decision making to thrive in fast‑paced environmentsAbility to move from valet stand to customer cars by walking or running for extended period of time, sometimes for the entire duration of shiftRequirementsMust be at least 18 years of ageValid driver's license with good driving recordsPrior valet, parking, hospitality, or supervisory experience preferredAbility to operate manual transmission vehicles (stick shift) requiredAvailability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidaysMust successfully pass a background check, in accordance with company policy and applicable lawsMust be authorized to work in the United States and able to provide documentation verifying eligibility, as required by the Department of Homeland Security.
